Marie-Christine Levet is a French internet pioneer and serial entrepreneur who has been the founder and CEO of several major internet and media companies, including Lycos, Club-Internet (T-Online France) & print-digital media NextradioTV.
Following her accomplished entrepreneurial life, she turned to venture capital in order to bring her experience to younger CEOs. In 2009 she helped launch Jaina Capital, one of France'sfirstentrepreneurs funds, where she successfully invested in early-stage start-ups, including Made.com, Devialet, La Ruche qui dit oui, and in the edtech world Peak and Epic.
Marie-Christine was also a venture partner at the « Google Fund for innovation in print media».
A mother of two sons and a strong believer of the power and impact of innovative education, Marie-Christine decided to create EDUCAPITAL, the first European fund dedicated to edtech.
MC currently serves as board member with Iliad (Free), AFP, Mercialys, Maisons du Monde, Econocom.
She is an HEC graduate and she holds an INSEAD MBA.
